Daily Tip

Find a way daily to acknowledge the other person. Whether it’s showing appreciation for something they’ve done, for who they are or for how they look. Find one thing, at least, everyday to acknowledge that person in a positive way.

Tips for Engaged Couples or Newlyweds

Learn to talk to one another. We forget how much power our words have. Sometimes we say things or say things with a certain tone to the person we love, and we don’t realize how it affects that person. The words we choose and the way we say them can influence our relationship, positively or negatively.

If You Could Give Only One Piece of Advice…

Remember who your primary relationship is. Often times in relationships we get bogged down with ‘Oh, I can’t pay attention to my relationship right now because I am really busy at work’ or ‘I’m too busy with the children.’ It’s important to remember you’ve chosen this person as your mate and the primary realtionship in your life, and you can’t put it on the back burner. That relationship needs to be remembered and on the front burner all the times.
